Domini Veneti

The hamlet of Jago, on the Negrar hill, has always been considered one of the most suitable areas of Valpolicella Classica for its soil and climate. The landscape is typical of Valpolicella with dry terraces, in this case exposed to the south-east, at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level.

The type of soil is varied, sometimes clayey, sometimes calcareous, or placed on alluvial debris. The result of this micro-area are Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes destined for the production of the most important Amarone of Cantina Valpolicella Negrar, Vigneti di Jago, which stands out, in addition to the integrity of the oenological execution, for the clarity of the aromas and the calibrated degree of drying.
